In view of the complexity of the inquisitorial tribunals that were active in the Modern Era, the V International Symposium of Inquisitorial Studies stands as a privileged space for a fruitful discussion and exchange of knowledge, publishing what has been written on such a dense theme, without, however, failing to point out the direction to new fields of research.
Beyond the researchers who have chosen the Inquisition as the theme of their work, the Symposium is equally open to all those who have made the inquisitorial sources their work tools, and thus provide us with a deeper knowledge of modern and contemporary societies.
